Support Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Most issues can be resolved on your device without a support login or an internet connection. We never have access to your library, so please do not send personal documents or passwords when asking for help.
Getting help
Email abhidevelops572@gmail.com with a short description of the issue, your device model, operating system version, and the Trove app version. Screenshots are helpful, but remove sensitive travel or identity information first.
Before contacting support
- Restart Trove and try the action again.
- Check that your device has free storage for imported files and backups.
- Review Camera, Photos, Files, and Notifications permissions in device settings.
- For a document that will not open, confirm the device has an app that supports its file type.
- For reminder issues, verify notifications are enabled for Trove and the item has both a date and time.
Backups and restores
Keep your backup password and backup file safe. Trove cannot recover a lost password or decrypt a backup without it. Before restoring, confirm that you selected the intended backup: restoring replaces the current local Trove library after confirmation.
You may save backups in Files, cloud drives, or another location you choose. Those locations and any sharing method are outside Trove’s control. Clearing local trip data inside Trove does not delete backup files stored elsewhere.
Data recovery and limitations
Because Trove has no server copy of your data, deleted local data cannot be recovered unless you created a backup beforehand. Removing the app or clearing its app storage may remove your local library. Create an encrypted backup before moving devices, resetting a device, or clearing app data.
Support scope
Support covers reasonable help with Trove’s features and reproducible app issues. It cannot troubleshoot third-party viewers, cloud-drive providers, email clients, operating-system restrictions, or data that was not backed up. We may ask for non-sensitive diagnostic details to reproduce a problem.
